A first for me on my own "New Year". Well, it seems like a New Year for me. September is a month of new starts. The start of a new school year for one. Even though my daughters are past the "school age" years I can't help but get excited about the "Back to School" activities. The newness of school supplies...pencils, paper, notebooks and crayons! I used to love to go shopping for school supplies with list in hand. A fresh start, a "new year".....so, this is my fresh start for 2009 that includes, for me, a 50th birthday, a 30th wedding anniversary, a new blog, and who knows what else???? Well, here goes!

- What "Sparks" your memory? 2009 is a notable year for me as I turned 50 and had my 30th wedding anniversary. My memory certainly isn't what it used to be, but have you ever noticed certain dates, places, smells can spark a memory? I hope to capture those memories as they flash across my mind. As my daughter used to say when she was little, "tell me a story about...." Well, here are my stories as sparked by something! This is my "memory keeper".
